How are political parties formed? How do they compile their candidate lists? How are election campaigns run and funded? How are the votes counted, and how is the winner determined? How secure is the voting process against fraud, and what really goes on behind the scenes?
As part of the Community project by the "Youth for Haifa" organization, we invite you to an open meeting with Dr. Boris Lazarev — a veteran of Haifa politics, Haifa City Council member from 1998 to 2008, and an expert in public administration and local government.
Please note: this is not a political campaign or an event endorsing any party. This is a unique opportunity to understand the electoral system of Israel, ask any questions you have, and hear from someone with decades of experience in municipal politics.
Join us for an open conversation, a lively discussion, and answers to the most crucial questions about the country’s elections and political system.
Date: July 30
Time: 19:00 (7:00 PM)
