When the NGO "Young People for Haifa" opened its space, no one planned to create a coworking space. We simply needed a place for meetings, lectures, team work, and community projects.
But very quickly, it turned out that we weren't the only ones facing this challenge. Freelancers were looking for a quiet place to work. Entrepreneurs had nowhere to hold meetings. Students were searching for a space to study. New immigrants wanted a place where they could not only get work done but also meet new people.
That is how the idea to open our space to everyone was born.
Today, it is a modern coworking space equipped with everything needed for productive work: comfortable workstations, high-speed internet, a meeting room, a conference hall, a podcast recording studio, a lounge area, tea, coffee, and an internal bomb shelter (mamad).
Every day, entrepreneurs, software developers, designers, marketers, journalists, students, and business owners work here. Some come for just a few hours, while others work here full-time. People connect, exchange experiences, and find clients, employees, and partners. For many, a regular workday here becomes the start of new opportunities.
Unlike most coworking spaces, life here is just getting started when the workday ends. Lectures, workshops, language clubs, entrepreneur meetups, networking events, and cultural activities turn this space into a true hub for the city's community.
